Entry: the amazing super dog Saturday, August 16, 2003

My dog has recently decided to start eating metal. This worries me a little. She has eaten, or at least chewed off, zippers on pants, the zipper on my bag, some A/V cables, staples in a wall, and the list goes on. Interestingly, she does not simply chew on whatever happens to be lying around, she actively seeks out new metal to eat. Earlier today she knocked a container of small nails off a table and was attempting to lick them up when I caught her. Even now, somewhere in the depths of the apartment, I can hear her chewing. I am not sure why she does this, we give her vitamin supplements that have iron, so I don't think that is the problem. Anyone have ideas?

you should go around your house and spray all the metal stuff with that bad tasting spray stuff they make to train dogs. cause i think eating metal is a bad habit for a pup to develop.

my friend had a cat that was similar, except his taste ranged to, oh, everything. in one day she found him eating a candle and tinfoil, in addition to his favourite snack, christmas tree lights.

she would sleep listening to him. *chew chew chew* pop! *chew*
